I’m Jörgen Löwenfeldt — a Stockholm-based author, journalist, and generalist*. I work at Nordiska museet, where I lead collecting projects focused on contemporary life. Previously, I served as Head of Operations at the Internet Museum, exploring Sweden’s digital cultural heritage.

As a writer, I’ve published the novel Ensamma tillsammans and the podcast short story series Människor som går iväg.

Privately, I share my life with two children, a girlfriend, our cat Alice, hundreds of plants (a number constantly growing), and a private library of thousands of books (see: previous parenthesis).

My interests range from Eastern European literature, strange maps, the concept of time, bizarre history, dromomania, the fern craze, parallel universes, and the world of Marcel Proust. The Bagatelles are the node where everything that is me comes together.

Email me.

* Among my hard-to-categorise credentials: as a teenager, I started a web agency (two of the projects: a still-active IFK Norrköping website and a literary community that was a little ahead of its time) and, at 19, became head of PR for Kenya’s top football club. Since then I’ve studied to become a psychologist, worked as a crime reporter, and served on the board of the club of my dreams (yep: the very same IFK Norrköping). Right now, I co-host a podcast about ideas with my uncle and co-own a fast food chain.
